Industry Insights Education is designed to equip non-financial managers with knowledge to help them apply aspects of accounting, finance, and bookkeeping into their daily decision making. The goal of this program is to ensure that companies are able to properly understand and manage their financial operations in such a way that they have adequate control over their businesses. This education program is facilitated thru classroom education offered at the International Door Association 2020 EXPO in Salt Lake City and quarterly webinars.

Oct 17th, 2019 - “Profit analysis for Residential vs. Commercial based businesses.”
Jan 16th, 2020 - “How to analyze margins when building bids and estimates.”
Apr 16th, 2020 - “Understanding Working Capital and Liquidity Management.”
The vision is to show members how to properly view and analysis their business results thru financial statements. By participating in this program, members will be able to identify opportunities for improvement and strength that can be seen and understood with financial analysis. The program will teach many of the primary elements of accounting that one must understand in order to read financial statements, be provided with key numbers to watch for and analysis on a regular basis, and we will provide examples of how these leanings can be applied to their business and the door industry as a whole.
